I love wordplay and this poem was lots of fun to write, because so many good rhymes came to mind. When that happens, the poem practically writes itself.
About The Author
Deborah Ruddell is a poet and picture book author who always loved words, but didn’t dream of writing books until she had children of her own. I love this book of Deborah’s! I just wrote a beaver poem at my blog last week for 15 Words or Less, so what fun to see another beaver poem so close to that. I love especially the lines:
